Pokemon Go is a free to play augmented reality game created by Niantic and is a part of the Pokemon franchise. The game has already been released in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, England, Italy, Spain and Portugal as well as in the US. At first, the server strain was so severe due to the huge amount of online play, that the game was initially paused until the creator could fix the issues.

As quickly as 24 hours after its release, it was the top grossing game in the top-grossing free charts and was installed on 5% of all android devices within two days. Nintendo, which owns 33% of Pokemon’s share, has seen share prices already rise by 50%, with four more releases planned by March 2017.
